Key things you need to know about Ayodhya Ram Mandir

The consecration ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya will be held on January 22.

Inauguration date

Ram Lalla

On the day of the ceremony, a 'pran pratishtha' ceremony will be organised for the Ram Lalla at the Ayodhya Temple.

Largest in India

The Ayodhya Ram Mandir is going to be the largest temple in India. The height of the temple would be approximately 161 feet along with 28,000 sqft area.

Special bricks

The words "Shri Ram" are engraved on the bricks used in the construction of the Ram Temple.

Tent city

For the ceremony, a Tent City has been established which includes six tubewells, six kitchen houses, and a hospital with ten beds.

Langars

Langars, community kitchens, food distribution centers and meal areas will be set up in every corner of the town during this time.

Blend of culture

With its influence from both north and south Indian temple architecture, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has a pan-Indian appeal.

Holy soil

The foundation layout of the Ram Mandir was constructed using the holy soil from 2587 regions including Jhansi, Bithoori, Yamunotri, Golden Temple, and more.
